Why Visit London?

London is the capital of and most populated city in England. With a population of over 8 million people, London has a long history and is a great place to visit with your family or alone.  In 2011 alone London reached about 15 million visitors, but why visit London and what is there even to do in London?

There is a ton of history in The city of London. In some places you can see things that are over 600 years old. London certainly has a lot of history as it was settled in around 40 C.E. If you’re into history, London is definitely the place for you. You could check out the Tower of London or visit Westminster Abbey. You can see St. Paul’s Cathedral or The British Museum.

The Tower of London

The Tower of London is a fun place to spend your day. Everywhere you look there’s something new to see like the crown jewels or the dungeons prisoners were once kept in.

If you’re not interested in history there is still a ton of stuff for you to see in London. Madame Tussaud’s is a place filled with realistic wax figures and definitely go to the London Science Museum if you’re feeling scientific. I’d also recommend the London Zoo or Platform 9 and 3/4 at Kings Cross Station.

Overall, London is a ton of fun to visit, and there is a lot to do there. I definitely would recommend visiting London if you get the chance.

That’s all for now, Ben
