Crayola Easy Animation Studio makes it easy for any kid to create animations and allows the child to design their own characters to animate, but it was anything but easy. Crayola almost never disappoints me with their products, but this was difficult and unpleasant to use. Crayola makes the product look easy and lots of fun and I thought it would be until after I downloaded the animation app. The app is supposed to track the movements of an adjustable figure, but it takes a lot of work to adjust the figure so that the electronic you’re using can actually “read” the markings on it and replace them with a semi-user designed character. I did not enjoy using this toy, I cannot believe that it won an award as it was a complete disappointment.

is the card game with ever changing rules. It may sound complicated, but it’s actually extremely easy to learn. The objective of the game is to be the player with the two “keeper” cards (each keeper card displays a different object) that match the two keepers on the “goal” card currently in play. But after that, it gets really wild. Players can change the goal, add or eliminate rules, steal cards from other players, and so much more! The game is great for families or friends and offers enjoyment for all ages. Fluxx comes in over 6 versions other than the original, such as pirate Fluxx, zombie Fluxx, and monster Fluxx, and can be bought in several languages. I would recommend this game for any family game night, sleepover, or party in the world.
is the 7th movie in the Star Wars series and takes place 30 years after Darth Vader was defeated in episode VI. The story follows Rey, a scavenger from the planet Jakku, and Finn, an ex-stormtrooper who chose to follow the path of good rather than evil, as well as several characters that appeared in past movies in the series. Rey and Finn have one mission, to locate Luke Skywalker with the help of a map, found in the droid BB-8, but a new threat lurks nearby that intends to stop Rey and Finn. The movie scored a 4.5 out of 5 in my opinion because it utilized a good mix of adventure, action, and science fiction, to create an incredible film. This movie would be great for any family to watch on a weekend, or any day of the week. One thing that I would suggest for everyone who hasn’t seen the other movies in the series is to watch them before seeing the new movie so that they can fully understand all the events in the newest movie. I would definitely recommend that everyone watches Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If they remember watching the other movies as a kid, or are just starting to watch the series now, they would greatly appreciate the newest movie.
is a drawing pad that’s compatible with most computers. It comes with a tablet and a stylus, and allows the user to easily draw digital artwork. The tablet can be used like a computer mouse and comes with an art program upon purchase. It’s very expensive though, and I would only recommend this for anyone who is serious about art and electronics. I had a ton of fun using it and definitely will use it often.
is a powerful story featuring a woman and her five year old son who experience the world after being held captive for years. The story begins in the one room that the two lived in for 7 years and continues until after they escape to the outside world. This movie was absolutely amazing. The story had me on the edge of my seat, the acting was incredible, and the story line was phenomenal. I would recommend this movie to anyone who gets the chance to watch it. It’s no surprise to me that this movie won an academy award.
was released last year alongside the Macbook Air and the Macbook Pro. Personally, I love the Macbook. It has a sleek design and hundreds of great features. The keyboard can be illuminated and the laptop even comes in three different colours. Everything about it is carefully designed for the user. It’s extremely thin and super light, but still the perfect size. In fact, I’m writing this on a Macbook right now. I was only disappointed by two things. It’s hard to navigate from window to window once something goes into full screen and I was also disappointed that the laptop didn’t come with Siri or any variation of it. By now I would expect Siri to be included in all Apple electronics. In my opinion the laptop scored a perfect ten out of ten for it’s originality and ease of usage. I would definitely recommend this laptop over any other laptop on the market. Everything about it is perfect. Once again, Apple has exceeded my expectations.
takes place in a world where humans live with dinosaurs. Arlo, a small dinosaur, is seperated from his family after falling into a raging river. With the help of a human named spot he must return to his home. The movie was very playful and exciting. The animation was incredible, just what I would expect from a pixar movie. The movie was entertaining, but I don’t believe that adults will be as entertained as young kids. At some points the film felt like a repeat of past pixar movies. The movie also didn’t have very much dialogue, which can get boring. Otherwise the film was a complete success, I enjoy watching the creativity of pixar. I was not disappointed by this film, I hope that others enjoy this movie as much as I did.
