Recently, a crowdfunding site called Indiegogo gave small businesses a new way to get started, through investments! Indiegogo, like Kickstarter, gives businesses an easy way to get the funds they need to make their business possible, but now, with equity crowdfunding, small businesses can sell part of their enterprises so that they can get the money required to make it possible. Real estate is probably one of the safest investments there is. Why? Because real estate almost always goes up in price over the years. The problem with real estate is that it is very, very expensive, so it’s probably not the best investment to start with. Investing into real estate can also be great because you can rent out the home until you’re ready to sell it for a profit, meaning that someone pays you every month to stay in there. I wouldn’t recommend starting with real estate because it can be so expensive, but it doesn’t hurt to know a little bit about it.
